The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. If for some reason the retreat were to be cancelled your deposit and or balance would be fully refunded within 30 days. There is no refund once the retreat has begun. WHAT TO BRING Please prepare for all types of weather. In summer we can have summer thunderstorms that may require an umbrella or windbreaker. We recommend you bring bring a sweater, warm jacket or coat, socks, sturdy, comfortable shoes for walking, casual clothing for meals and workshops. The € Euro which is the European common currency fluctuates in value to all other worldwide currencies. Your deposit and balance will be evaluated on the day of actual payment. If you pay on two separate dates the exchange rate may vary and will be set according to the bank rate of that day. Please see www.xe.com for commercial exchange rates. RATES: Assisi Retreats reserve the right to adjust these rates prior to the retreat and also to substitute accommodations. After each Retreat Participant completes full payment for the Retreat, there will be no additional fees or surcharges for that participant. CHANGES IN ITINERARY: Changes to the tentative proposed schedule are anticipated. Assisi Retreats reserves the right to make any changes that may become necessary in the best interest of the operation of the Retreat, with or without advance notice. In such cases, any additional expenses must be borne by the Retreat Participants. Changes will not result in a refund of any portion of the Retreat fee. ROOMMATES: If any Retreat Participant wants to pay for the Retreat at the shared-room price, yet does not have a specific roommate, Assisi Retreats will attempt to match that Retreat Participant with a roommate. However, Assisi Retreats cannot guarantee that a roommate will be found. If no roommate is found, then the single-room supplement must be paid by the Retreat Participant. RETREAT FEE INCLUDES: All meetings, all guided meditations and movement instruction as specified in itinerary. Lodging in shared room with 2 beds at hotel or lodging designated in itinerary, if space is available at the time the Retreat Participant registers. Otherwise, Retreat Participant might be lodged in accommodations of similar category. Meals as listed in the schedule. Transportation during the retreat for retreat program only. RETREAT FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Transportation from home to the Retreat. Single room supplement. Any meals not listed in the schedule. Any beverages or alcohol apart from that provided with meals. Gratuities for housekeeping, bellboys, waiters, drivers, and guides. Gratuities and taxes for personal services and purchases. Personal laundry, telephone calls, cover charges, etc. Room service. Travel, accident, baggage, health, or life insurance. Private excursions, recreational activities not mentioned on the schedule. HEALTH: Any prospective Retreat Participant with a disability, pre-existing medical condition, or medical history requiring special attention or treatment, should advise Assisi Retreats at time of booking the reservation and are advised to consult with a medical specialist prior to reserving space in the Retreat. People who are unable to travel alone or who would require special assistance or handling must be accompanied by a companion who will provide the required assistance. Assisi Retreats assume no responsibility for cases such as these. All Retreat Participants should be healthy in mind and body and have enough prescribed medication to last them for the duration of their stay on the Retreat, if undergoing any medical treatment or taking medication. Assisi Retreats are not responsible for Retreat Participants' health problems during or after the Retreat. INSURANCE: All participants in the Retreat are advised to get travel, medical, accident, cancellation, and baggage insurance independently. Assisi Retreats carries no insurance whatsoever for the Retreat Participants. Assisi Retreats reserve the right to publish any such photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings without obtaining further consent from any participant. Each participant releases Assisi Retreats and its representatives from any liability in connection with any such use of such photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings. WAIVER: Assisi Retreats and its representatives are making all arrangements pertaining to the Retreat, including hotel reservations, transportation and Retreat operation and will not be held liable for delay, theft, damage, injury, terrorism, or irregularities. Assisi Retreats and its representatives will take no responsibility or liability for: Any changes or delays in air schedules, missed airline or other carrier connections, or other services. Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, including luggage. Additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs, or itinerary. Defect in any vehicle or the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the Retreat Participants, or in carrying out the arrangements of the Retreat, or otherwise. Additional expenses incurred or due to sudden sickness, weather conditions, strikes, war, terrorism, quarantine or other causes or acts of God. Changes in the Retreat itinerary.
